COMMUNICATION AND PUBLIC RELATIONS COMMITTEE Back to Top
Purpose The purpose of the Communication and Public Relations Committee are to facilitate communication among Association members and to increase awareness of occupational health nursing among other professionals, organizations and the community. Go to Newsletter
Purpose: The purpose of the Finance Committee is to define the budget for the operating year and to make recommendations to the Board of Directors on use of the Association funds.
GOVERNMENTAL AFFAIRS COMMITTEE Back to Top
Purpose: The purpose of the Governmental Affairs Committee is to review and report on legislation, regulations, or governmental agencies that impact environmental and occupational health and safety, workers' compensation, and/or occupational health nursing. The Committee may also monitor economic and business interests and issues in the northwest, recommending appropriate action to the Board of Directors.

Purpose: The purpose of the Membership Committee are to keep the Association membership information current and to increase membership with a goal for continued growth. MEMBER RECOGNITION AND AWARDS COMMITTEE Back to Top
Purpose: The purpose of the Member Recognition and Awards Committee are to identify and submit candidates for annual awards (local and national), to apply for appropriate Association awards through the AAOHN Award Program, and to attend to the special recognition needs of the Association members.

Purpose: The purpose of the Nominations Committee is to complete the annual election process as directed in the Bylaws.
PROGRAM EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS COMMITTEE Back to Top
Purpose: The purpose of the Program, Education and Professional Standards Committee is to provide programs at the monthly meetings of the Association, to provide for the education needs of the Association members, and to disseminate information to assist Association members in maintaining high occupational health nursing practice standards
