Position: Occupational Health Nursing

Location: Hanford, Washington
The highly qualified team comprised of The EI Group, Inc
and NetGain Corporation® is pursuing an
exciting occupational health and medical service project
with the Department of Energy in the Hanford and
Richland areas of Washington state. You are invited to

several key positions to staff these projects.

Functional Responsibilities: Provides supervisory
responsibility of nursing staff for government occupational
health program concerned with worker health and treatment of
illness and injury; be knowledgeable of and comply with the
contract requirements and responsibilities set forth in
applicable Department of Energy regulations including, but
not limited to, 10 CFR 851 “Worker Safety and Health
Program,” 10 CFR 707, “Workplace Substance Abuse Programs at
DOE Sites,” 10 CFR 712 “Human Reliability Program;” oversees
day-to-day nursing program; develops and implements nursing
service objectives, policies and procedures to maintain
quality care in an occupational health setting; determines
staffing levels and monitors for adequacy in provision of
care; management of administrative functions.
Education and Experience: Certified Occupational
Health Nurse (COHN) and Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing
(BSN) required. Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN),
Masters of Business Administration (MBA), or Masters of
Public Health is HIGHLY desired. A minimum of 5 years’
nursing supervisory experience in an occupational health
program in a government contracting environment is
required. Knowledge of accreditation standards, risk
management principles and practice, and quality improvement
processes. Experience in leading a clinical element
supporting organizational achievement of accreditation by a
national accreditation body is HIGHLY desired. Experience
with industrial, construction, environmental cleanup,
analytical laboratory, and research laboratory settings
where exposures and hazards are associated with such
environments, including hazardous/toxic waste, biological
agents, beryllium, and radioactive materials including forms
of uranium, plutonium, and other transuranic materials is
HIGHLY desired.
Qualifications:
Successful completion of American Heart Association
(AHA) in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac
Support (ACLS) training. Must be eligible for a
Department of Energy Access Authorization. Minimum two
year commitment. Ability to make oral presentations.
