SEH America is a growing global wafer manufacturer on the cutting edge of silicon technology. We are looking for an experienced Occupational Health Nurse to be a key member of our organization in Vancouver, WA.

 

The ideal candidate will have experience and knowledge of corporate health programs  in a manufacturing environment. In addition this candidate will perform in the following areas;

 

  • Upgrade and manage cost effective occupational health programs.

  • Responsible for our in-house medical and first aid programs.

  • Assist HR and EHS Manager in handling work related loss time injuries and refers employees to physician or medical facility.

  • Maintain records of treatment and care of employees in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

  • Helps to prevent onsite injuries and illnesses by analyzing records, researching literature, and recommending measures to reduce risk of injury and illness.

  • Administers and manages appropriate on-site testing programs.

  • Assist in the creation of applicable employee wellness programs.

  • Involved in ergonomic assessments and implementation.

  • ·Assess and implement Industrial Hygiene function including air quality, temperature, noise control, ergonomics, etc.

This person must have outstanding communication skills and demonstrated ability to effectively promote and manage various health programs within a large organization. Must be able to work multiple projects concurrently with a wide variety of consultants and personalities.  Must be willing to work in an individual contributor role and work well within a team environment.

 

Qualifications:

·       3-5 years of experience in similar role.

·       Experience in a large manufacturing or semiconductor environment ideal.

·       Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing

·       Certification in Occupational Health

·       Certified CPR and Basic Life Support

Description:

Provide quality health services to ESCO Portland employees and be a pro-active advocate for a safe and ergonomically effective workplace emphasizing well informed employees who view safety and wellness as an important part of their job.

Qualifications:

Communication skills (listening, writing, presentation, etc.) Microsoft Office, Excel, Oracle skills, and special software as needed.

Bachelors Nursing degree required. Current unencumbered Oregon Nursing License required. Healthcare ProviderLevel BLS required. One (1) year experience in Employee Health and/or Occupational Health required, however, 2 years experience in emergency, critical care, or medical office nursing will be considered in lieu of employee/occupational health experience.

Full time position to administer employee health services to the employees, staff and volunteers of SAGH and affiliated SAGH medical clinics.
